Mary Wall, MD, JD, FAALM
Dr. Wall earned a BA in Chemistry, magna cum laude, from Washington and Jefferson College, and an MD degree with honors in Radiology, Pulmonology and Behavioral Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Some years later, she graduated cum laude from Case Western University School of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar.
A proud military veteran, Mary served for 13 years in the US Army, and has volunteered to assist in healthcare and mental health access for members of the Ohio National Guard.
Interested in organized medicine, Dr. Wall rose to become the first attorney and third woman President of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), founded in 1846. As OSMA President, she achieved success for her organization, instrumental in developing medical care standards for the Ohio Medicaid Expansion Program under the Federal ACA, and in initiating an organized physician training program in Ohio for safe opioid prescribing.
For over a decade Mary has been a national lecturer in Court decisions regarding Health law to include the opioid crisis and vaccine law at both medical and legal meetings. A Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine, she served in several officer positions, including President Elect before branching out to become the founding President and Fellow of the American Academy of Legal Medicine.
